Uranus is at work
I personally like Uranus and all the excitement it brings. It is full of surprises. When this planet goes direct or retrograde, sometimes if it is aspected well in a chart well, one gets a wonderful wish fulfilled. not as one might expect, but it is fulfilled.
I often when reading someone explain the planet brings the unexpected, and what I hear back, at least some of the time is: so,what will happen? I then toss out a multiple of possibilities, There is a reaction. Then I point out, probably none of these will happen, as the event is a surprise and will come from left field.
Next week Uranus will go direct at 4 degrees Aries, but one can feel this energy already. Or maybe those who have strong Aquarius planets or ascendant in their chart might feel this energy all ready. Uranus rules the sign Aquarius. For instance, I have been trying to get into this blog, since there were changes last Spring to Blogger. Last month I tried, and a new account was suggested. I could not seem to unit with my dear blog.
I looked at different blogging sites this past week. I had a made a choice. This morning, I thought ..one more try. It worked! after months and months, That was a welcome surprise. Have you had any surprises of late. Generally they occur within a day of the date where the planet actually moves. That date is December 13.
As I write this blog Uranus, our Jack in the Box planet is opposing Jupiter, a planet that can be lucky but does tend towards over-indulgence. The interpretation depends on the location of their transits on your chart. People are happily and optimistically going overboard or over-indulging.
Where is Uranus in your chart natally? What house is Uranus transiting? Do you have strong Aquarius planets or an Aquarius ascendant? Start sharing, and we can talk about the possibilities. I might add some people get worried with Uranus. Understand the Status quo might change in an area but this planet is not to be feared. It adds that snap, crackle and pop to our life!
Please share.

Thanks for this post! I have Aquarius Rising and also love Uranus transits (I am almost afraid to admit it because it feels kind of like asking for trouble!). I like the excitement, though I'm otherwise a pretty fixed creature. Uranus is transiting my second house Chiron in Aries, trine my Sun in Leo and trine my Mars/MC conjunction in Sag. In the last few weeks some important career stuff moved forward after many months (years?) of waiting, but it's all still in preliminary stages so I'm looking forward to see what come up on the 13th, and then when Uranus is back on my Chiron at 6 Aries... I need more time to do all the work that came my way, but I'm going to have to fight for it.
If you can go back to the date this new career venture appeared then you can figure out when you will know the complete story. What degree and sign is your Uranus?
I am an Aquarian with Uranus on the ascendant and jupiter in opposition. It never quits. Calm does not last long. It is a fantasy in my life.
By the way since I have not published for awhile, how did you find me right away?
Thanks so much for your reply!
I got the news I needed on 11/14, and I started working with this person (an Aquarius, naturally!) on 8/1/12. My natal Uranus is at 1 Libra, conjunct Jupiter at 2 Libra...
Wow, I can see why you're so lit by Uranus transits!
I subscribed to your blog with Google reader, so your post showed up in my feed as soon as it was published.
Is Uranus still going direct in Aries? I have had a terrible conflict at work with someone whom I mentored for years but who has turned on me. We are hoping to have some restorative justice happen this week. I am an Aries, born April 16, 1954 at 5 a.m.; he is a Taurus, born May 18th, 1974, time unknown. We used to be good friends and colleagues but this last 5 month period has been hell. Any insights? Thanks for your help. Aries Girl
Yes it is. Can you feel it? I did not see this comment until today. Are you still dealing with the same problem?
