There is no teacher like history

Often when I am baffled about a situation , I go back into history for answer. This procedure is particularly viable in astrology. In fact, this process played a major role in my learning of astrology.

With the US economy teeter totting and fear abounding, I wonder how much that situation is influencing the reading of charts in areas of career and finances. I tossed this question out to several astrologers and they felt that if there was a downward period , it would be reflected in the birth chart.

I am still uncomfortable with this conclusion. Low and behold a client came in with remarkable similarities to the US chart. He has a Sun/Moon conjunction with the US.

I was about to discuss the impact of Uranus in Aries on his moon, and the US sun, and I decided to go backwards to study the last time Uranus was in Aries. (It takes 84 years for this planet to go through all 12 signs.)The last time was 1927 to 34. We all know what happened then. I went sigh.

The time before was according to the ephemeris was in 1843 through 1850. Though the depression started in 1837 with Uranus in Pisces, it was active in 1843. Our recession began with Uranus in Pisces too.

People also have history. In much in the same way if you want to know how a certain transits affects you, go back to the last time you experienced it. You might find this time is a little different, as you have grown but there is a very clear similarity.

Is there any transit you are wondering about? Please share.

Thank you Stewbiff.
What is even better than doing our own chart, if we are looking to see let's sexuality, or what Saturn means, go to history, and introduce yourself to some of your very favorite people.
Researh those questions in this situation. When we work on our own chart,. our perspective will dim.
