If I were to get an offer (which should come in within the next two weeks), I would probably have a month to make the move. Is this a good time to make a move in my career (i.e., December of 2007), especially since I am slated to receive a sizeable bonus at my current job (in late March of 2008)?
Thank you Harriet. (birhtdata withheld because of request)
Good morning Harriet! How nice to have this problem but I can understand not knowing which way to go. Your instincts to write in and ask hone into your own intuitive abilities. You must sense something. Good for you.
This is a problem period as we are about to have Mars (initiative, new beginnings frustration) turn retrograde. When this planet is retrograde, new beginnings in general do not work. This period starts a week from today, Nov. 15 and goes through January 30, not the best period for a new job. What I would like to see is you begin after January 30. But please don't get worried yet.
When you get the offer, let me know asap. I will also want the Law Firm's incorporation date. Hopefully they will drag their tail some, so it will hit the right dates. Nothing before January 30-promise me!
Thank you for writing in.
Jacquie

Hi Jacquie
Mars retro has certainly hit me hard, and its during a new beginning. I am due to move 200 miles to where my girlfriend lives (we have a baby due in April), but she got angry with me the very day Mars hit my 3rd house cusp (she thought I wasn't taking action fast enough) and hasn't spoken to me since. This was Oct 28th. I'm due to move around Dec. 8th to be near her, her daughter, and our baby, all during this Mars retro. Mars will retro back over my ASC and then go forward again back over the ASC and hit the 3rd house cusp the day the baby is due. Mercury was retro when she "broke up" with me (I'm not sure we broke up, anyway) and the retro ended a couple days later. We did not meet during a Mercury retro (Mar 17, 2007).
So although I'm heartened at your idea that break ups during retros typically don't last, my move during the Mars retro and the current situation makes me think. I really can't wait to move, I need to be near her during this pregnancy. I'll be working my current job and will be commuting a long way until my 1st house sells (I'll be paying two mortgages for a little while). So the real question is - how do us regular Mars people handle this Mars retro, especially during a time of major personal changes? The changes were initiated before the retro started (starting loan paperwork, working with realtors). My natal Mars is in Virgo, 5th house. 6/3/65, 04:28 am, Edwards AFB, CA.
This is a serious matter. it is your life. Mercury retro are the only retro where a breakup could be bogus.
You do need to have your chart looked at before moving, as movcing in a Mars retro is not good news!
